Beloved has taken me on such an adventure! I get a little peak into my clients’ hearts and they are so beautiful. Galen and Paul’s wedding is coming up this month and I can’t wait to see them share their love with their family and friends. 
I’m back! My poor blog has been neglected for some time, but now sessions and weddings are back in full swing, so there will be plenty of goodies on the way! First up is Ashley and Charlie’s Beloved engagement session. I can’t believe I have more than a year yet before their wedding! These images will have to tide us over in the meantime!
I got to spend some quality time with cutie Remy Madison on a cold winter day, so we snuggled up in some some warm knits and cuddled with her her buddy Cash. I can’t wait to get some images of her when she is big enough to rise Cash like a horse! You may see some more images of her sooner than that as I’m photographing her parent’s engagement and wedding later this year!
I’m not even sure how to start this post. There is so much I want to say, yet feel like words are not enough. This Beloved session is of my dear friends, Amy and Chris. Amy and Chris have 5 children ranging from age 1 to 13. Their kids are beautiful, smart, and funny, but the fact remains that 5 children require a lot of time, energy, and love. Amy and Chris are amazingly dedicated parents to their children and it’s fascinating to see them in action. Their time for each other and for themselves is quite limited. Their children sprang from the love they have for each other and it’s easy to lose sight of the precious gift that they, themselves, are in the daily chaos of life. Beloved is a reminder of what they already know, a space to remember and experience each other fully. I got an email from Amy after our session before she had seen even one image, and I’d like to share it and their Beloved session with you….
” I had to write. You must know that the space you created for us was magical. The parts of our hearts that had wanted to speak for so long were set free to share things that healed. Reminding us of the fire that burns so bright for one another. Refocusing our eyes on the garden instead of the tiny weeds:). You created that space for us Nicole and we are forever grateful for that. We haven’t stopped talking about how amazing it was to share like that and having no reservations about there being a witness to our raw hearts on display. You are a gift my friend. A sister sent to share this life with and I’m grateful that I get to grow old with you:). That when the sun sets on my life here, you will be part of many of my most moving memories in this life.
