kate + kev – Lancaster County Wedding Photography

Kate and Kev exemplify what weddings should be about.  The entire day was based on their beautiful connection and all the ones they love.  They live across the pond and really understand that their home is made up of each other, wherever life may take them and not the things they possess.   Their wedding was quirky and bright, just as they are :)

Rachel + James – Malibu Wedding Photographer

Rachel and James brought me out to Malibu this summer for their wedding.  I just adore this couple.  They are so bright, funny, and sweet, and they have great taste in music!  While I love that I have gotten out west in the twice year because of them, I’m delighted they are moving back to the east coast!  I see some Smores in our future:)

Venue:  Saddlepeak Lodge
Dress:  Priscilla of Boston
Succulent Centerpieces: by the bride

Sarah + Tom – One Atlantic Wedding Photography

Sarah and Tom were my adventurous couple who went skiing for their engagement session last winter that you can see here and here.  So, it seems appropriate that their wedding was at the beach!  They are big fans of Atlantic City and decided to hold their wedding at One Atlantic.  When they booked the venue, they literally gambled with their wedding day as the site wasn’t even built yet!  They had tremendous confidence in the plans and the staff.  This gamble certainly paid off, as One Atlantic definitely awed everyone and Sarah and Tom had a rockin’ party!

Brittany + Dan – Historic Waynesborough Wedding

I love these two.  Just ridiculously sweet and grounded.  And cute.  It becomes even more apparent every time I see them.

Britt + Mike -The Bowie Bride’s LA wedding, Part 2

I’m going to skip the wordy into to part two, you’ll have to check out The Bowie Bride and Rock n Roll Bride for the full scoop on all the details of the day!

Bowie Bride, Part 2….

coming up tomorrow! For now, here is this cool installation piece Britt was able to get a hold of for the wedding. No one pic did the sparkling effect justice, so a little animation gives you the idea!

Britt + Mike – The Bowie Bride’s LA wedding, Part 1

I’m not even sure what I can say about Brittany and Mike’s wedding that will seem sufficient. This day exceeded my expectations in so many ways and I’m grateful that I got to be part of a beautiful day. What I love most about these two, is they make no apologies for who they are. They just put it all out there and aren’t afraid of what anyone will think. Their lives and their wedding are a perfect reflection of who they are. I admire their passion that they bring to their careers, their families, and most of all, to each other. This would be a monster post if I packed it all into one, so I thought I’d split it up a little. So, first up, the getting ready and portrait time of the day. To get the play by play on all the wedding day planning and the hilarious wit of Brittany, check out her blog, The Bowie Bride
