I’ve taken forever to hang these images from Sandy and Allen’s shoot at Eastern State Penitentiary. I printed these images on Fine Art paper – very much like a watercolor paper, and framed them without glass so you can really see the paper quality. The printing is so yummy! Anyway, here is the wall collection from the shoot. It’s looks so much better hanging than propped up against the wall. Don’t mind the awful lighting, they look so much better in person, but you get the idea though 
Upon googling myself today (oh, you know you do it too!), I found that I placed in the top 20 for 2008 Best of Engagements by Modern Photographers! I entered some images and didn’t think anything of it until now! Guess I’m a little out of the loop on the contests. There is some inspiring imagery up there, and I’m honored to be part of the group. A couple weeks ago, I volunteered my time to photograph some babies in the NICU at one of the local hospitals. It just amazed me how much personality shines through these little guys, hooked up to machines and all. Some don’t want to be bothered and want to sleep, barely opening their eyes. Others are so alert and can’t take their eyes off of you. I worked on this project with our local March of Dimes chapter and they were able to use some images for a project of their own. November is Prematurity Awareness Month. Please check out the site and sign the petition.

…for my last trip of the year. I’ll be gone for the rest of the month for a jam packed schedule of photoplus in nyc, a wedding in CT, and back to nyc for my last workshop of the year. Somewhere in there I’ll have a little bit of time with my cousins in CT as well. Phone and intenet will be limited, so please bear with me. I’ll be returning all messages the first week of November.

It seems like forever since I’ve been to California! This time, I’m going there to be a guest at a wedding! Maybe you remember the bride and groom from Thumper and Melissa’s e-session? Zach and I have a jam packed agenda of shoots and fun! Zach has never been to California, so he is in for a treat!

Welcome to my first custom blog! I’ve been itching for a long time to do something custom and my ideas are finally live on the web! Big thanks to the team at ITDR for making my ideas a reality. My wedding site is so outdated, I decided to ditch it all together for now. All portfolio images are now located within the blog to help streamline things a bit. I’m still tweaking a few things here and there, hope you will poke around a bit, leave me some lovin’, and come back often!
I got a nice little surprise yesterday morning. I saw winners announced for this quarter’s agwpja contest. I have to admit, I have been really bad about not entering and was determined to get something in this quarter. Of course, I forgot about it until I got an email reminder with the upcoming deadline of one day – and I was at my parent’s beach house with hardly any material on my laptop! So, I quick entered a few engagement images and place 16th for the engagement category! Not too shabby! Here is the image from Sam + Pete’s awesome session!
